How to Apply / Funding Inquiries

Funding Inquiries

Although we do not fund unsolicited proposals during periods when we do not have an open request for proposals (RFP), we are happy to learn about your ideas at any point to assess whether they are likely to fit within the scope of the JRS strategy and our upcoming RFPs.

Next Request for Proposals: We plan a call for proposals within the scope of our three Program areas on December 20, 2018. Please Connect with us to receive notice of our funding announcements.

To make an inquiry, you may either (1) complete this JRS Inquiry Form in Microsoft Word and send it using the document UPLOAD FILE button below, (2) provide a summary of your project in the web-based form below, or (3) upload a document  in your own format using the UPLOAD FILE button below the inquiry form. Inquiries may be brief and informal.  The JRS Inquiry Form in Microsoft Word has alternative templates for Biodiversity Informatics Technical Projects, Biodiversity Informatics Capacity Development Projects, and Conference Support.
